My family lived in Nalerigu while my father, Hudson built the dam, the workworks purification system, the leprosy and tuberculousis compounds, ran the pipelines to all buildings so that everyone would have running water, my mother, Jean was a nurse at the hospital, assisted Dr. George Faile Sr and taught my sister Louanna, my brother Clay and me, and gave birth to our brother Charlie. I have many fond memories of Ghana and Nigeria where my sister and I attended Newton Memorial School along with the other missionary kids throughout Africa. We were lucky enough to grow up with Georgie, Laurel, Cherry and Sarah Margaret and I still think of David. I hope that others share my love and appreciation for everyone who is still in Nalerigu and carrying on the important work that our parents helped to start there.
