What to Wear
Your white coat is not necessary as we have several that you can use; due to the heat, though, we never wear them except over our scrubs between cases.
Leave your neckties at home. We wear simple slacks and shirts at the hospital (dresses or skirts for the ladies, please); we do not wear scrubs to the clinic, not even if you bring your own. Sandals are perfectly fine at the hospital. Many like to bring a water bottle of cold water to the hospital each day.
